perthshire farm road – 50 viewstaken somewhere in perthshire. twas a beautiful morning as you can see. i think the pic could have been improved if i had repositioned myself a little and adhered to the two thirds rule a bit more. the warm-up grad filter has added a bit of colour to clouds.8 commentsfranko14

the Clisham – 26 viewstaken on my recent trip home, this is the Clisham in north Harris. not one of my best, i think the middleground of this is a bit uninteresting, this was taken in the afternoon, i wish i had been there in the morning so the middleground and peaks would have been better lit. but that is for my next trip home in march. as always critisism welcome.5 commentsfranko14

mountain top on a cold day – 38 viewstaken from the top of Sron Ulladale, looking over to loch seaforth on the isle of harris. taken on a cold day, wind was only 50-70 mph, a calm day in harris terms!! anyhoo, ilike the colours in this but i'm not so keen on the composition. i wish i was brave enough to get closer to the cliff edge so as to capture the beautiful veiws, but i ain't that daft6 commentsfranko14

harris ram – 38 viewsenedited, i like the ram's pose, but fell overall pic is not very good. i got a whole series of these. this is not the best one though but i hope a little bit of TPC advice may improve it. is there any hints or tips anyone can give me to make this one better. 5 commentsfranko14

dunblane's misty trees – 38 viewsxmas morning on dunblane golf course, nice and misty, i've tweaked it in CS3 but not as much you'd think, i mostly played with the curves to give the trees a little bit more definition6 commentsfranko14

perthshire farm at dawn – 30 viewssame as the other one, uploaded it by accident really, but its slightly different. still not sure if the composition works or not, i think a slightly darker grad filter might have toned down the over-bright horizon line1 commentsfranko14
