Lake Castilas
Have been playing around in Cs3 with some pics i wasn't happy with for various reason. the original was pretty poor to be honest. but a bit of experimenting on the laptop has made me curious what others think. there's tons of dust specks by the way...

think its very cool indeed

It looks like a pretty decent composition, but the shadows are too dark and large sections of the image are essentially black. The eft hand background looks lquite soft/out of focus. The image gives me the impression of having a right to left descending horizontal tilt, although theat could just be an impression as there is no definite horizon line to accurately gauge a level from.

A neat idea. It is overall very dark on my monitor. I'd be tempted to split this and sharpen the background (and perhaps remove the striking dust spot in the centre of the upper half). Is there a story behind the markings on the rock?

the rock is really soft sandstone which the locals like to decorate. i'll give the suggestions a try..thanks folks

I kinda like it as it is with the exception of the one big dust spot which would drive me mad until i cloned it out.
